Hi, my name is Micah Tracy, and I am the owner, founder, and editor-in-chief of Maison de Tracy!

I'm an interior designer, I'm an artist, and I've been in the wedding industry as both a photographer and a wedding coordinator. I thought, why not take all of my skill sets and passions and combine them into one passion project to help others create in their own homes in a way that's both accessible and attainable, while still feeling elevated?

Over the course of my life, I have been very passionate about hosting. Be it a baby shower, a birthday party, a dinner with friends, an out-of-town guest, a wedding shower, brunch, Easter, Christmas, etc., I just love to host people in our home, and I've also had the privilege of hosting in other people's homes. It's just a passion of mine.

I know not everyone is passionate about hosting. Or maybe you are, and you just don't know where to start because it feels overwhelming. It's my heart to break that down so it feels less scary and becomes something you enjoy doing.

I myself have gotten lost in the influencer age of perfectly curated and decorated homes and elaborate parties, and I've forgotten what real-life hosting can look like. It's my goal to help people achieve the aesthetic they want for their next hosting endeavor and take some of the stress out of it.

I'm also going to dabble in some home-related things, although I will be the first person to tell you that I am a lazy cook and a lazy gardener. But I think there is freedom in that because most working people nowadays don't make the time or have the energy to be a full-fledged Martha Stewart.

I want to be real. I want to be realistic. I want to create simple guides and be a source of inspiration for something that is attainable and achievable for anyone, at any life stage or economic standing.
